Jack Carr is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling James Reece series. His debut novel, “The Terminal List”, was adapted into the #1 Amazon Prime Video series starring Chris Pratt. He is also the host of the top-rated podcast Danger Close. The first 100 JCPL cardholders to register and attend will receive a signed copy of "Only the Dead." Please, only one free book per library cardholder. General admission tickets may be reserved by anyone; you do not need a library card to attend. Copies of the author's books will also be available for purchase from Wild Geese Bookshop. Carr led special operations teams as a Team Leader, Platoon Commander, Troop Commander and Task Unit Commander. Over his 20 years in Naval Special Warfare he transitioned from an enlisted SEAL sniper, to a junior officer leading assault and sniper teams in Iraq and Afghanistan, to a platoon commander practicing counterinsurgency in the southern Philippines, to commanding a Special Operations Task Unit in the most Iranian influenced section of southern Iraq throughout the tumultuous drawdown of U.S. Forces. Carr will be joined in conversation with Franklin Chief of Police, Kirby Cochran. All books will be signed in advance, including copies for purchase at Wild Geese.
