We are excited to invite you to an upcoming Members-only event at Rek-Lis Brewing’s Pint House on Thursday, May 25 from 6-8pm. We would like to express our gratitude for your ongoing contributions to our cooperative by offering Co-op Members a casual evening with light refreshments, music, and ample opportunity to network with your community. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP by May 10; space is limited, so please respond early. As you know, our Co-op operates on the principles of Economic Member Participation, which means that every member has a chance to support the co-op through their shopping habits and financial contributions. We would like to offer you the chance to invest further in the Co-op: for a limited time, we are offering the opportunity to partner with us by participating in a new Member Loan Program. Member Loans played an integral role in financing our original store in 2009 and the Co-op's expansion in 2016, which have been paid back in full, with interest. Since the start, your Co-op has shown an impressive history of solid growth and consistent financial performance. We hope to raise over $250,000 for this year's Member Loan offering. By refinancing our debt in 2023, our Co-op will receive $1.9 million in debt forgiveness as part of a New Market Tax Credit Program. Lowering our debt will put the Co-op on an even more sound financial footing for our future.
