The Volunteer Center of the Triad and Guilford College are partnering to host the 2023 Heart of the Community Awards, a Celebration of Outstanding Volunteers in the Triad. The event will take place Thursday, April 20 at 12:00PM in the Carnegie Room at Hee Academic Commons on the campus of Guilford College. Dr. Kyle Farmbry, President of Guilford College, will deliver the keynote address. Nominations are now open for the following awards: - Nonprofit of the Year - Volunteer of the Year - Emerging Youth Award - Nonprofit Volunteer Program of the Year - Corporate Volunteer Award - Lifetime Service Award The prestigious Governor’s Award for Volunteer Service will also be presented at this event.
