Join Old Flame Mending for an evening of hanging out and stitching. This event is for people who have some experience sewing and want some gentle guidance and/or fellowship while working on projects. You can come and stay for the whole 3 hours, or pop in when you can between 5 and 8pm! Please bring your own sewing supplies and project. We will have wine from our favorite local wine purveyor, 9 o'clock Wines, as well as non-alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy. Some light snacks will be provided as well! You are welcome to BYOB and/or a favorite snack if you prefer. Please let us know of any food allergies in advance via the signup form. Old Flame Mending is a sewing service that helps you keep your clothes out of the landfill and in your wardrobe through repair, tailoring and alterations, and custom work. The mission of the Refillery is to reduce single-use plastic and packaging by making reusing and refilling easy, accessible, and affordable. Their brick and mortar shop is located on Murray Ave in Squirrel Hill, a few doors down from the neighborhood Giant Eagle.
