Elote has been throwing Downtown Tulsa's biggest & most entertaining Cinco de Mayo party for 15 years! This year we will be celebrating both Friday & Saturday. Friday: 3:00 pm: Drop by to sip a margarita & enjoy some tacos on the most beautiful street in Tulsa. Kids activities and the sweet sounds of Mariachi Music begin as soon as the festival kicks off. 4:00 pm: Live Luchador Wrestling begins and continues on the hour every hour until 10:00 pm. 8:00 pm: It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's PARACHUTE TACOS! That's right folks, you're not dreaming. The sky will be filled with parachute tacos and if you're lucky, you'll catch one. 10:00 pm. DJ Mike from Red Line DJ will keep us dancing and close down the street. 11:00 pm: Festival wraps ups. Saturday: 11:00 am: Day 2 begins with Elote's famous Breakfast Puffy Tacos, churros & coffee. There will be kids activities and Elote will be open with it's full menu and drink specials. Our Arts Market opens at 11:00 am and runs until 8:00 pm. It will be full of all your favorite Mexican imports, flower crowns and local artists. 12:00 pm-3:30 pm: Live Luchador Wrestling begins and continues on the hour every hour 5:00 pm-6:30 pm: Chihuahua Races and Costume Contest. Do you have the fasted Chihuahua in town? Or perhaps you've made the cutest costume for your furry friend? We want to see them! Sign up begins at 3:00 pm and will end at 4:45 pm in order to start the races at 5:00 pm. The costume contest will immediately follow the races. 7:00 pm-10:00 pm: More Live Luchador Wrestling on the hour, every hour until 11:00pm. Admission to the festival is free. For an additional cost there are a limited number of ringside tables available for purchase on this site.
