Amnesty International at UVA is hosting a live music event from 4 to 8pm on April 28th to fundraise for three refugee organizations – the International Rescue Committee, International Neighbors, and Tahirih Justice Center. The event will be held at UVA's Arts Grounds in front of the Drama Building from and is open to students, community members, and families. There will be bands, dance groups, food available for purchase from a refugee chef, and great raffle prizes! Thank you to UVA Arts, the Office of the Provost & the Vice Provost for the Arts, and the UVA Alumni Association for supporting this event. RSVP is not required to attend, but will allow us to gauge attendance.
Raffle tickets will be sold, with all proceeds going to the organizations! Prizes have been donated from the Ting Pavilion, The Paramount, Mincer's, Raising Cane's, Trader Joe's, Relax Cville Spa, Milan, Mudhouse, Kanak, Feast!, Tilman's, King Family Vineyards, Boylan, The Virginian, Iron Paffles, Common House, Torchy's, Farmacy, Wawa, and more generous donors!
