Join us on Tuesday, April 25th for a first look at the resort wear collection available at the Pologeorgis store in Greenwich, CT throughout May, June, and July. Meet Joan Pologeorgis Nathenas, a luxury outerwear designer and resort wear curator. Her collection is focused on supporting mission-driven brands and women-owned businesses. Please share this invitation with friends! _______ Pologeorgis (25 Lewis Street) launches the 2nd annual spring/summer resort-inspired trunk show on May 1st to run through the end of July at the Greenwich retail location. A collection of dresses made in Greece and handmade bags and hats will be available for sale during store hours, Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 6 PM. The collection is curated by Joan Nathenas, co-owner of the Pologeorgis brand. Items include colorful woven handbags produced by Columbian artisans (apaya.org); hand-painted straw hats and beach bags by Liebe Anta, a luxury brand from Greece; and a whimsical selection of embroidered dresses made with natural materials by NEMA (@nemaresortwear) - a style of ethnic and bohemian tones with a Greek twist. "Nick and I are continuing our family business so when I look for brands I am also looking to support other family businesses," said Nathenas. She continued, "The Liebe Anta brand is made by a mother and her two daughters, they paint all hats by hand and the designs are exclusively theirs. Each bag takes at least 3-5 hours to make and each hat at least 2-3 hours depending on the design". Appointments are not required to shop.
