Join Donna Gary, art instructor for this adult only, beginner friendly, acrylic painting *Plein Air class held outdoors using natural light. *Plein Air means painting outdoors or in the open air, a style that was made popular during the late 19th-century by French artists of the Impressionist Movement. Participants will warm up with a series of pencil sketch exercises indoors and then move outdoors to paint on the library grounds. The class will be held indoors in case of bad weather. Saturday Studio will be a 3 - 4-hour extended class! *Supplies are provided at studio time, though participants may bring their own brushes. Participants may bring a brown bag lunch or visit the HEB next door for lunch options to enjoy during a break at noon. Event size: 12 Recommended for the local community in Wimberley, Texas.
