LOS ANGELES REGION SMALL BUSINESS SUMMITA County-City partnership celebrating National Small Business Week. This free event convenes all major free business resources from the Los Angeles region in one place. Existing businesses and aspiring business owners will have an opportunity to meet and speak to providers of technical assistance, capital, and mentorship. The event will also feature the following onsite services:Legal Aid and Consultation: Whether you need help drafting a contract or negotiating, legal help is available to support you through a County/City partnership. Speak to an expert at the event to determine your needs and how we may be able to assist you.Business Certification Clinic : Certification can be very confusing as different levels of government have different certifications that are not always recognized by all entities. This is your one stop shop to apply for all certifications your business may qualify for.Business Assessment: Business consultants and counselors will be on site to provide you a business assessment to help you determine which services your business needs.Business Permitting Assistance: This is a rare opportunity to connect with County and City department to get the help you need to navigate the permitting process. In addition, the program highlights resources related to domestic violence prevention, post-secondary education, access to employment, and educational opportunities for teens and young adults. This programs holds multiple events throughout the summer. This is an opportunity to pitch and win contracts of up to $25,000!!!
