We’ve all seen coverage of Dollywood’s Grand Opening each spring, but what does it take to open a theme park, while coordinating the schedule of an international celebrity and in excess of 175 media representatives? The Dollywood PR Team will walk us through all the big and small details of the extensive planning and logistics that go into a media event at Tripadvisor’s #1 theme park. Then, those in attendance will be able to experience Dollywood for the remainder of the day, including riding the park’s newly-opened coaster, Big Bear Mountain, and enjoying everything that the award-winning Flower & Food Festival has to offer. Complimentary parking and admission to Dollywood are part of the meeting ticket: $30 for PRSA members, $40 for non-members, and $20 for child (12 and under). RSVP’s are due no later than noon on Monday, May 8.
