USC Sumter will be hosting a Memorial Day Program on Thursday, May 25 at 12 noon in the Arts and Letters Lecture Hall (Room 116) on the USC Sumter campus. As part of the celebration, the Student Veterans Association is selling memorial crosses to be displayed on the campus lawn during the week of the program until after Memorial Day. The crosses are 14 in tall and 11 in wide. Each cross is white with black lettering that may be personalized to honor a deceased veteran. Each cross also has an American flag attached. The crosses will be displayed May 22 through May 30. Each cross costs $10.00 by cash, check or Eventbrite**. Please note that crosses will be available for pick up after May 30. Proceeds collected will be donated to the USC Sumter Veterans Scholarship Fund.
