Vourla Cafe is welcoming us with open arms and is excited to have our group!  A wide variety of freshly homemade Mediterranean food will be served family style at the tables.   $39 - includes appetizers, salad, entrées, and dessert. Wine and mixed drinks can be ordered separately from the full bar. Located at the Coastland Center Mall next to the Food Court on the south side of the mall (Fleischmann Blvd entrance). About the Speaker: "I’ve been in daily newspaper work for all but four years of my career, writing on government and politics — including coverage of presidential conventions — and, later, arts and entertainment in Troy, Ohio, and Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Those other four years? Serving as an editor — during my husband’s time in Louisville, Ky. — at the trade publication Pizza Today, a delicious digression. I came to Naples in 2000 to edit its seasonal high-end magazine, Ambience, and stayed to serve as home section editor, features editor and arts & entertainment columnist for the Naples Daily News — and, more times than I can count, as an adjunct writer for government stories. I’ve learned to follow the money to find out why politicians and governments behave the way they do, and to develop a strong network to maintain my knowledge base.  I recently moved to a new position with Gulfshore Business/Gulfshore Life in which I still enjoy reporting on our local community institutions."
