Intermediate Spinning 201Fridays, April 21 and 28, 9:30am-12:30pm Instructor: Pat Maley $70 + $10 materials fee, payable to instructor Experience level: Beginner, must be able to spin a continuous yarn Class limit: 6 If you have just learned to spin, if your yarn always seems to be the same size, or if you want to learn how to improve your spinning, this is the class for you. Learn how to spin yarn in a variety of sizes for projects you've dreamed of making from hand spun. Through a series of exercises, you will practice spinning consistent yarns in fine, medium, and thick sizes. You will learn how grist, thickness, and twist impact the yarn you spin and how to measure for these important characteristics. Learn tips and tricks for wheel adjustment and handling various fibers. Your fee will be refunded if the class is canceled or changed to a different date. Three registrations are required for a class to be held. Students will be notified before the start date if a class is canceled due to an insufficient number of students. If a student cancels for any reason, credit card and Eventbrite processing fees are not refundable.
