The sounds of brass will soon be filling the halls of Chaparral High School in Parker, Colorado when our Brass Band Festival returns on Saturday, May 20th. The distinctive and glorious sound of the British-style brass band is on full display for BrassFest 2023. Featuring Colorado Brass and Rocky Mountain Brassworks, we will be joined by Colorado Versatile Brass and Slide Rule. Colorado Versatile Brass is a smaller brass group comprised of members of Colorado Brass and Slide Rule is a trombone choir that performs in the Denver area. Each of these ensembles bring their own unique sound that demonstrates the beauty, artistry and magnificence that can only be heard in such a remarkable gathering of brass instruments. The festivities, which begin at 6 PM, will offer the opportunity to hear each group and then, in grand style, conclude with the combined efforts of Colorado Brass and Rocky Mountain Brassworks in a thrilling finale.
