* NOTE: A current UNM student ID is required for entry* Join us for this special edition of "Dancing in the Cave" at the UNM Art Museum! The UNM Art Museum is hosting an Open House Student Night, in preparation for the re-launch of its student group, "Student Advisory __BLANK__." You are invited to meet and chat with staff, view current exhibitions, and see pieces from its collection in the Beaumont Newhall Study Room. The lower gallery will host the Dance Party and refreshments and snacks will be provided. What is Student Advisory __BLANK__ (formerly known as the Student Advisory Board)? It is a student group for those who are interested in art, museums, gaining professional development and mentorship in the museum field. It is a group of dedicated students who will serve in a consultative and collaborative role at UNMAM. The group will officially re-launch in the Fall of 2023. UNM students are invited to share their feedback to help guide us as we develop a new structure for the group through this form. Want to know more?
