Join us in the Norwegian Wood sewing studio for an evening of bringing old clothing back to life Techniques taught - Mending small holes with fusible interfacing and reinforce with zig zag stitch - Seam repairs using invisible stitch (also known as a ladder stitch) - Learn to sew a button onto a garment Included Materials - thread, needle, fusible webbing, buttons, scrap fabrics - Wine and snacks provided! Katie Miles holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a focus on Painting and Fibers. Over the years she's spent time working within the fields of graphic design, Fine Art curation, fashion design and costume design.
