The discussion is intended to accurately define Critical Race Theory and discuss its impact on today’s academic and social climate. The event will be held in-person on April 20th, 2023, at the Fairview Heights Community Recreation Room at 10025 Bunkum Rd. This session will involve a panel comprised of educators, public policy makers, library science professionals, and parents of school-aged children. The panel will field moderator questions from 6:00PM to 7:30PM, followed by discussion among general attendees.
