Ages 5-10, Mon-Fri 9a-3p June 5-10
Through a wide range of hands-on activities and experiences, we will provide opportunities for children to connect with nature in a playful and meaningful way in order to inspire a life-long love of the outdoors. We hope these experiences also help to encourage a sense of environmental stewardship and community service. Activities include outdoor explorations, scientific inquiry, art projects, music and movement, conservation activities, and reading & math connections. All of which are designed to help foster learning and promote development in social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive domains.
Each day will be centered around a farm theme, as we follow the interests and curiosities of the campers. Themes include:
Native Land
Getting Present with Horses
Sheep and Fiber Arts
Chicken & the Egg
Woodland Wanderings
If this is your first experience at the farm we'd love to meet you at our Farm Open House, Saturday May 6th 9a-12noon
Each day will include various water play such as creek, sprinklers, and pool. Staff to child ratio will be 1:6 or less. Staff is certified in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety. Accomodations for near-age siblings as well as special needs and supports may be made to the best of our ability. We are happy to discuss any of these inquiries! All campers are required to have a signed acknowledgement and waiver for the inherent risks associated with farm experiences and animal encounters.
