Everyone has heard to reduce, reuse and recycle, but for these concepts to truly become part of our daily lives, we need another ingredient: entrepreneurs who can find the unmet needs and untapped opportunities in the things we throw away. Join the Northwest Arkansas Council’s recycling initiative, NWA Recycles, for a three-part event that will spotlight local startups during a Q&A panel and hold a pitch contest for up-and-coming entrepreneurs to win thousands of dollars in prizes (details on the pitch contest can be found here). The event will conclude with a lunch keynote by Dr. Andrew Dent, executive vice president at the international materials library and consultancy Material ConneXion, whose work has been featured in a TED Talk and on NPR.
