VertueLab is a nonprofit fighting climate change by providing funding and holistic entrepreneurial support to climate tech startups. Our goal is to accelerate the success of innovative companies and entrepreneurs within the Pacific Northwest (PNW), who are finding resourceful and sustainable ways to address climate change, while creating a more just and equitable economy and shared prosperity. Through 15 years of work, we have proven that our model can fuel climate solutions that are key to reversing the climate crisis. Women in Science PDX offers a wide variety of programming covering topics in professional development, outreach and education, and advocacy. WIS believes women in the sciences includes any person identifying as a woman who works, studies, or aspires to be in a science-related field. They offer support and real-life guidance for navigating a balanced scientific career path and provide a platform for women to learn from one another’s experiences. Badass Women Entrepreneurs celebrates groundbreaking women who have founded science-based businesses; highlights funding opportunities and support resources; and connects emerging trailblazers and professionals. Through this event, we also seek to inspire the next generation of inventors and scientists by amplifying the voices and stories of current pioneers who are actively shaping and building a brighter future. We are so excited to return to in-person event this year, and hope you will join us as we honor and uplift amazing women who are doing novel work in their fields and showing just how possible it is to create a successful career in the sciences and climate tech.
