Join the Early Conservation Career Network for a walking tour of Barnstable Land Trust’s Fuller Farm property in Marstons Mills. Protected in 2012, the 22.5 acre conservation area has undergone many changes over the last few years, working towards developing a vibrant family-friendly area that supports community sustainable agriculture, restores open sandplain grassland habitat, and provides a space for community education as well as storage for BLT’s stewardship equipment. BLT Director of Land Stewardship, Kelly Barber, will provide a walking tour of the property to discuss the farming history of the land, the story of its protection, and steps BLT is taking to implement their vision for the future. Following the tour, attendees are welcome to transition to Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis (10min drive) for beverages and socialization.
