Course 1: “New York State Dental Hygiene Practice Update”
Many changes in the practice act in our state and others have occurred recently. This course is intended to be an informative session with the Immediate Past VP of Governmental Affairs. Robin will inform the attendees of the most recent initiatives having to do with our practice. She will also inform about the initiatives that are still on the legislative floor.
Course 2: “Treating Patients with Special Needs and Varying Abilities”
Jessica Rissler, RDH formerly of the Center for Discovery and PRASAD will be discussing the treatment environment of patients with varying abilities including ASD, and desensitizing patients to dental office settings for optimal care delivery.
