Serving as a community leader for over 17 years, whilst being an odd guy himself, nobody has more practice than Todd about hearing the hate (just ask his family)! Join AMA Lincoln, during this interactive, halfway-serious presentation, and you will equip yourself with ways to combat the “haters”. If not, send all complaints to Todd (he can take it). *Disclaimer: Todd always tells his kids not to use the word hate, unless it is for hyperbolic use of a headline to a presentation to garner more interest and participation. Key Learning Takeaways This presentation examines real life examples of “mean tweets” and comments made about Downtown, to convey how your brand can: Figure out the root of a problem,Turn reality into perception, andFind a Solution to any said problem.Speaker Bio As President & CEO of the Downtown Lincoln Association, Todd Ogden brings 17 years of community leadership experience, which he utilizes to promote Downtown Lincoln’s brand, supervise staff, implement the budget, and serve as the primary liaison to the DLA board, property owners, and the City of Lincoln. In 2020, Todd was recognized as one of the top 35 emerging International Downtown Leaders. Todd is a Lincoln native, husband to one, father to two, and UNL graduate with degrees in Advertising and Political Science. Todd currently serves on several Boards and organizations, including YMCA, FES, LHDC, Civic Ventures and IDA. Todd is a Past President of AMA Lincoln, in which he did just enough not to get in the way of the board’s effort to win AMA Chapter of the year in 2015.
