This is a workshop where you learn by having fun. You will play theatre games, improv games, build on each others ideas and tell stories. This class is for all skill levels. No prior experience necessary. Why Improv?Pixar, Stanford, IDEO, Forbes, the New York Times, Harvard Business Review and many other organizations have advocated for improv in a variety of contexts: increases creativity, improves communication, increases productivity for team collaboration, is amazing business training, helps reduce anxiety and stress and be more resilient in the face of uncertainty and rapid change. ParkingThere is free parking and multiple parking lots. Class Agenda & Arrival TimeArrival TimeArrive 5-10 minutes early and meet your classmates. We will start class on the hour. Agenda: What to Bring - Bring Water & a NotebookBring 1 or 2 bottles of water. The building doesn't have a drinking water fountain. Optional: bring a notebook + pen / pencil to jot down notes and learnings. What to WearWear shoes you can move in. Something comfortable and closed toed. Wear clothes that you can move in. Business casual or workout attire (sweats + t-shirt) is fine for playing in. Common Question - What Age Group?The typical age range is 19-60, but we've had ages 8 - 92 in our workshops If you are a minor under the age of 18, we ask you to have a parent or guardian present during the workshop or who can sign a liability release waiver. Liability Waiver?Yes! Like a yoga or martial arts class, we ask everyone to sign a waiver.
