Our second MCL Writing Retreat* is a chance for sisters (and writers!) in Christ to fellowship together, learn from experienced writers, and work on their writing in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. Speaker TBA soon! The retreat will take place in the Community Room on the second floor at Broadmoor (elevators are available). Writers of all experience levels are welcome, from professional and published to those simply wanting to explore a creative outlet. It will be a restful day of spiritual refreshment, fellowship, learning and writing. We'll hear from a writer about her craft, complete some fun writing exercises, learn more in small group breakouts, and you'll have the opportunity to share some of your writing if you want! Lunch and light breakfast/coffee are included in ticket price. Space is LIMITED so we can continue the intimate feel of the first Writing Retreat. *This Writing Retreat is for ladies only, but we also hope to have some co-ed retreats in the future!
