We invite you to Women for a Healthy Environment's Annual May Day Green Soiree fundraiser that celebrates creating healthy communities for 14 years! Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE) educates individuals about environmental risks to human health, provides action steps communities can take to mitigate those risks, and advocates for solutions that better protect the region. WHE provides information, resources and technical guidance on addressing environmental risks in the home, school, and early learning settings benefitting over 35,000 individuals and over 300 learning centers. WHE was recently awarded a $1.8 million grant from Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to renovate homes of children with asthma, which you will learn more about, as well as other critical work. The evening will consist of delicious food, amazing entertainment and lots of fun, including special guest The Franchise Band, with a beautiful setting along the river!
