Don’t have your own skates? That’s ok, rental skates are available and included in the price of the workshop. All ages are welcomed and encouraged! Come learn how to: Skate forwards and backwards\Execute controlled stopsCrossover (standing and moving)Build confidence and strengthPlease be sure to show up 15 minutes early and bring a water bottle. Morton Skate Attire x Dance Skate Workshop COLLABDescription- Join Dylan Morton and learn advanced skating techniques as well as a choreographed dance skate routine. This workshop will be catered to both the intermediate level and advanced level. For the first half of class we will focus on different aspects of skating such as: Pivot CombinationsTransitionsFootworkSpins/JumpsFor the last half of class you will be learning a skating routine that will focus on the following: MusicalityTiming Expression TexturesConfidence and StylePlease be sure to show up 15 minutes early and bring a water bottle. No rental skates allowed in this class. I hope to see you there!!!_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ About the instructor: Dylan Morton is a professional roller skater, based out of Cincinnati, OH, who has been skating for 10+ years and has travelled the world learning many different skate styles. Along with skating, he has 5+ years experience training in different styles of dance and gymnastics. Dylan has taught skating, dancing and gymnastics since he was 15 years old and has had the privilege of teaching students from 3 years old all the way to 60+. You can find Dylan's skating featured on the AMA's performing with P!NK, Disney Channels' "Saturday's" as an assistant choreographer, and Usher x Flippers video shoot in London. Dylan has a lifelong goal of continually spreading the love of skating with each skater he encounters!
