Cherrylake nursery's "1,000 Trees for 1,000 Years" planting initiative continues its new year at the Folly Farm Nature Preserve in Safety Harbor! Volunteers are needed to plant 252 4" liner Baldcypress trees at the Preserve's wetland. Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful, T.R.E.E. Inc., and the City of Safety Harbor on Monday, May 1st for a rewarding morning of beautification and community improvement!

WHEN: Monday, May1st at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
WHERE: Folly Farm Nature Preserve - 1538 Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Street North, Safety Harbor, Florida 34695
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes (Rubber boots are highly recommended footwear as this will be a muddy and wet area) and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Hat, sunglasses, and weather appropriate clothing is recommended.
WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves, shovels, sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available, please bring a refillable bottle. Volunteers will receive a free KPB t-shirt for participating!
PARKING: Free parking is available within the park.
