Join us for an exciting event led by Kitty Sanders with the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks. She will be teaching us about butterflies. Kitty, Butterfly mentor at BGO, will be bringing in real butterfly specimens to show us and will be guiding us through the fascinating life cycle of butterflies. We will be making a fun life-cycle craft that illustrates the different stages of a butterfly's life. We will even explore a garden showcasing the importance of placing plants that have nectar for the butterflies close to plants that their caterpillars can eat. This is a great opportunity for children to gain hands-on experience with real butterfly specimens. Kitty will be sharing her knowledge and answering questions about these fascinating creatures.
