ALL GIRLS PLAYERS WELCOMEWho: Our staff is made up of former Division I and NBA Coaches. Tyler Neal - 10+ years of NBA & DI experience. Cleveland Cavaliers and University of Akron. Steve McNees -10+ years in Division I Coaching. Former Professional Player. Allen Deep - Former New York Knicks and Boston Celtics staff member. Bryan Weber - 10+ years in Division I Coaching. Former Hoop Group Director. Noah Buono - National Talent Scout for Hoop Herald. Former Duquesne University player. FEATURING GUEST COACHES: Dan Hughes - 2 X WNBA Champion Head Coach (Seattle Storm), 2 X WNBA Coach of the Year, USA Women's Basketball National Team Assistant Coach (2018- present), 20+ years of college coaching experience, 20+ years of women's professional coaching experience, coached some of the best players of all time including: Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart, Becky Hammon & Dawn Staley. Destiny Leo - 2023 Horizon League Player of the Year (Cleveland State), 2022 Horizon League 6th Player of the Year (Cleveland State), 2020 Ohio Ms. Basketball Runner-Up. What: One day mini-camp focusing on player development, skills & off-court resources to become a great player. Grades 6-8 & 9-12 (Girls) This will have a well rounded approach. We will spend a lot of time on offensive skills and concepts. We will emphasize every aspect of offensive development; ball handling, finishing package, shots of all types, etc. In addition to offensive development, we will also communicate and teach some simple defensive aspects and incorporate read & react concepts. This program is limited to 30 athletes for each session. 2:00PM - 5:00PM Where: It takes place on Sunday, May 14th, 2023 at Keith Wygant Memorial Field House (Ashland High School), Ashland, OH . (1440 Hiner Ave, Ashland, OH 44805). Cost is $70 per player. Why: To provide a great day of skill work, knowledge and resources to maximize your skill set heading into the summer.
