We are the Colorado Brewery Running Series™ and we run for beer!Join us for the Snowmass Tree-O (2k + 5k + 10k + 17k Challenge) in on July 21 & 22, 2023. In partnership with the town of Snowmass and the New Belgium Ranger Station, this unique event will feature a 2k run on Friday night, followed by a 10k and 5k run on Saturday. Run one, two, or all 3 distances in order to complete the 17k Challenge! Run, walk, jog, hike - whatever goes! Complete the course and celebrate with us and a FREE, New Belgium brew at the finish line. This event was formally the 5k on the Mountain run. If you would just like to join us for the 5k run, you are more than welcome to select either the 10AM or 10:30AM Saturday wave for the 5k-only. Since our inaugural Colorado event in 2016, we have been able to donate over $120,000 back to local Colorado non-profits (with over $350k raised to date nationwide). This event will add to that tally! 10% of all proceeds go directly to the Jake Foerster Music Arts Fund which will be on-site promoting their organization. So not only do you get to enjoy some healthy activity and great, local beer - you are helping us support local organizations that do important work in our community. Important details:This is a series of untimed, fun runs. All levels of walkers, runners, joggers, and hikers are welcome.This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations. The 5k and the 10k courses each have one road crossing that will be manned by voluneers. Additional volunteers and course markings will be present at all major turns and trail intersections.Water stations and bathrooms will be available along the 5k and 10k courses only. These are all true trail runs, which means you can count on a fair amount of elevation, challenging hikes, and descents on single-track bike trails, ski slopes, and mountain access roads. This course is not suited for running strollers, so please plan ahead if you have small children coming along. We create each route to start and end at the brewery and to show off the surrounding neighborhood. The course will be marked with arrows and volunteers to help you know where to go. You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage. Our events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out and drink beer. There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.Dogs and kids (under 12 run for free) are welcome on the course! Note: this course is not suitable for strollers. Reminder: you are running at your own risk on trails, which might not be suitable for your child, or dog. Please make the best decision possible for you and your running buddies. Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise, including shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, heat press brewery logos, drinkware, and seasonal items that will be available at the event. There is public parking available. Is public transit an option for you? Check and see if there’s an accessible route nearby. Please drink responsibly. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
