The 2023 Mavericks Awards will be held April 29th at San Benito House in Half Moon Bay. It promises to be a fun night as we celebrate Mavericks, the surfers & photographers, and our amazing community. The Mavericks Awards is a digital video performance contest where big wave surfers and videographers submit their best surf content from the season. This year features over $25,000 in total prize purse with three award categories for both men and women: Biggest Wave, Ride of the Year, and Performer of the Year. 60% payout to the athletes and 40% to the videographers. Come celebrate our incredible big wave surfing community.
