The festival will take place at Hermann Square in front of City Hall from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for hands-on activities, displays, food, information, and interactive booths showcasing city initiatives that are paving the way toward a cleaner, greener Houston. The festivities will include demonstrations by city departments and community partners featuring a mini-forest and ecosystem, advances in recycling, air quality enhancements, tree giveaways, microgrid technology, student art contests, a tiny house, wastewater purification, electric vehicles, solar solutions, and so much more! Earth Day HTX 2023 promises to be the largest Earth Day event ever presented by the City of Houston!
