2023 Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association Convention!Registration is open for the annual event honoring outstanding broadcast journalism in Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. This year's convention will be held June 2-4 at the Ocean City Fontainebleau Resort in Maryland. Activities kick off Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a Crab Feast and Auction to benefit the Bob Shilling Memorial Scholarship, followed by Saturday’s 9:00 a.m. business meeting and Seminar on "Covering the Capitol." Then there's the Awards Reception & Banquet at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night, breakfast on Sunday, and of course, the BEACH throughout the weekend! The deadline to purchase tickets is 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 26. The best ticket value is the Full Convention price. This includes the Crab Feast & Auction, Saturday Breakfast & Seminar, Awards Reception & Banquet and Sunday Breakfast. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL!
