Brazos Valley Roller Derby is pleased to announce our own Central Texas derby clinic with the fantastic Freight Train! Freight is bringing her expertise to a 3-hour bootcamp experience at Neal Recreation Center in Bryan, Texas. Spend some time training with Freight to learn skills in offense, defense, jamming, and strategy. Bring your black & whites and stay after for a fun scrimmage for no extra fee! Just wnat to scrim? No problemo! For a small fee, you to can participate in the scrimmage only! SCHEDULE: Check-In: 12:30pm - 1:00pm Clinic: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Scrimmage: 4:15pm - 5:15pm This clinic/scrimmage is open to all skaters over the age of 18 who are contact-cleared. Junior skaters may email [email protected] to discuss participation. Skating will be done on a coated wood floor surface, we recommend harder wheels (93a-97a). On-skates participants must have their own skates and safety gear (mouthguard, helmet, elbow/wrist/knee pads). You will be required to sign waivers to be able to participate.
