ABOUT FRANK B.— A native Tennessean, Frank Bumpass, grew up in Chattanooga. Music has always run deep for Frank, with a host of relatives who always gathered to play around him, led by his biggest influence, his father.  It was no surprise that at age eleven, Frank picked up his first saxophone and began to express his thoughts, views, and emotions through his music. His love for music grew, and the exploration of different genres began. Frank came into his own style at age 21, and Frank B. Jazz was born. Frank B. has played with many musical groups in the southeastern United States -- and his sound has a distinct southern R&B edge. Frank has opened for Angie Stone, Avery Sunshine, Chante Moore, Dottie Peoples, Kenny Latimore, and many others. Frank B.'s influences include Gerald Albright, Najee, Kim Waters, Kenny G, Mel Holder, Grover Washington Jr, and Boney James, among others. Frank B. has won numerous accolades and awards, including being inducted into the BEC AWARDS  HALL OF FAME in 2021. EVENT DETAILS: Doors open at 5:30pm.
