Description

Did you know that San Diego is the most biodiverse county in the continental U.S.? Unfortunately, it also has the highest number of endangered species! The 2nd Graders at High Tech Elementary are learning about endangered and threatened species in and around San Diego County to become experts on them and how to help them. Students are organizing this walk to raise awareness and money to be donated to a local conservation organization which will be decided by students! Just in time for Endangered Species Day (May 19th this year). How will YOU make a difference for these species in need? We are asking for donations for this to raise the most money possible. Please give what you can in support of species in need - even if you are not able to attend the walk, we appreciate any support! Suggested donation levels: Wildlife Walker -$5 donation Courageous Conservationist - $5 or more Habitat Hero - $20 or more BioDIVERSITY Defender - $50 or more Please come walk with us!
