The weather is getting warmer, the sun is shining and self-expression is fully alive. SPRING IS HERE BABY! The breeze of rebirth is inviting us to move our bodies and keep dancing. Let's pollinate some more joy together! Join us on >> Sunday AFTERNOON << for your weekly dose of Dance Medicine. We are welcoming back a crowd favorite, Nick Nah Mean? Nah Mean? is a Yogi, Sound Healer, DJ, Music Producer, and Event Curator. As an ecstatic dance DJ he masterfully picks a selection of music specific to each event's set & setting ranging from house, downtempo, tribal, breaks, world, and rare groove but most importantly what is needed in the moment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But first.... Warm Up your body with a very special guest, Ferdinand Maloney Ferdinand is a yoga teacher and flow artist Yoga Flow: This warmup will incorporate elements of yoga and flow arts with easily accessible movement. We will tune into the breath and sensations of the body, exploring fluid awareness in preparation for our afternoon of dance and play 🌊✨ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And finally :: Let yourself soften and melt into a restful savasana as you receive the beautiful Hayley Ellison for a sound bath. Hayley Ellison is a diverse singer-songwriter with a serene alto vocal that “whispers as much as it wails” (John Vettese, XPN). She is a classically trained vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for genre-bending multi-dimensionality. Hayley’s genre may be described as jazz/folk/pop with the ability to endlessly transform and shape-shift. >> The location that will be hosting our dancing bodies will be Philadelphia Ethical Society... of course in the city of brotherly & sisterly love. We ask that there is no talking on the dance floor and no cameras used during the event.
