Sat 4/22: Beautification Day: Visit Beech Kombucha to give back to the community you live in. The day will be filled with live music, volunteer opportunities and gardening workshops. Local food vendors will be there to provide some provisions for purchase. This will be an outdoor event, so plan your dress accordingly to get dirty. Beautification of The Garden: Assist with planting and tending to the garden and sprucing up the space at Beech Kombucha. Create art installations to be displayed at Beech. This will be a volunteer activity.Plant Swap- Bring any small seedling or propagations to swap with others who are bringing them. This is a pure swap, no exchanges of currency.Plant Education Workshop- Join John & Georgia of Ylang Ylang Tree Nursery for a talk called, "The Fruit Renaissance: Germinating the Future”. At this event, you will learn about these unique plants and how to cultivate them. We believe it's important to save these rare species and incorporate them into our food vocabulary and cultivation practices. @theylangylangtreeLive Musicians- Support local talent and listen to talented musicians. @Jacobtw.art @TendanimusengwaClothing Drive- All weekend we will be collecting clothes to be exchanged or donated. The exchange and tie-dye upcycle event will be held on Sunday. Any clothes left after the weekend will be donated to a charity that will benefit the LGBTQ comunity.Food Vendors- TBDSun 4/23: Upcycle Yourself: Meet up with old and new friends to have a day filled with activities that can help to rejuvenate your spirit and your wardrobe. We will be hosting a tie dye workshop, yoga classes, massages and tarot readings all throughout the day. Any leftover clothing will be donated to a charity that benefits the LGBTQ community. Run Club- Our weekly run club will be here at 11am to conduct an easy 2 mile run on the Pinellas Trail. [FREE]Yoga Classes- Multiple classes throughout the day by various instructors. Time to refresh your wardrobe and donate to a great cause. Bring in any gently used clothing to be exchanged with others. Don't forget a reusable bag to take some clothes home with you. Starts at 12pm and continues all day.Tie-Dye Workshop- Bring your own clothes to upcycle or use some of the donated clothes from our clothing exchange. Anna Rose from @FlyingFalconTherapiesLLC will be leading the workshop to show people techniques for tie-dying and also bleaching clothes for unique "Anti-dye" designs. [$10 per person to cover the cost of the supplies]Massage- $2 per minute Table massages by Steven Falconetti @FlyingFalconTherapiesLLCTarot Readings- $2 per minute Tarot Readings: Lora Hypnosis @LorahypnosisSilent Disco- At dusk, break out your dancing shoes for a three genre dj'd silent disco.
