Beginners Graphite Drawing Workshop Learn how to work with graphite in this beginner-friendly workshop with Nicole Christian. Attendees will learn how to work with graphite to create their own drawing of a mallard duckling on a 9 x 12” piece of vellum bristol paper. (all supplies included for use during class ). This is a great beginners friendly workshop! You will work step-by-step with the instructor, and all supplies are included for use. You will also be able to see the steps clearly on a flat-screen television through the document camera in real life during the in-person workshop, and Nicole will be walking around to help one on one. Printouts of the image will be provided, and you will be shown how to transfer your design to the paper before you start. Thursday, April 20th, at 6:30 pm $25 per-person + ticket processing fees. advanced registration is required About the instructor: Nicole is a self-taught artist and botanical & natural science illustrator. She owns the Nicole Christian - Fine Art & Illustration Studio in Hamburg, NJ, where she offers small group and private art lessons, as well as commission and illustration work. She runs the Sussex County Nature Journaling Group and is a volunteer EMT with one of our local ambulance squads. Nicole is currently undergoing her botanical art and illustration certificate through the New York Botanical Gardens She likes to remind her students that “we were all beginners!” Don’t get discouraged; just have fun and enjoy the process.
