Did you know the towns in the monadnock region have a higher rate of Alzheimer's and other dementias when compared to every other town in the state of New Hampshire? The reality is that Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia can have a significant impact on the workplace. Employees who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's often experience high levels of stress and may need to take time off work to attend to their caregiving responsibilities. Additionally, employees with Alzheimer's or other forms of memory loss may require accommodations in the workplace to perform their jobs effectively. That's why it's so important for our community to come together and support the Western NH Walk to End Alzheimer's. By raising awareness and funds for critical research and programs, we can help find a cure for this devastating disease and provide much-needed support to those affected by it. During the event, you'll hear from representatives of the Alzheimer's Association who will share information about their programs and how they are making a difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's disease. You'll also learn about the upcoming Western NH Walk to End Alzheimer's and how your company can get involved.
