Create an artful butterfly specimen-shadowbox in this 3-hour workshop with National Park Service Conservator, Fran Ritchie. - All materials will be supplied by instructor but if you have collage materials you'd like to bring you are welcome to bring them! Fran Ritchie is an art conservator for the National Park Service helping NPS sites preserve their museum collections, with a specialty in conserving natural history specimens. After working in the natural science and anthropology conservation labs at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC for several years she was introduced to the realm of natural history arts and insect pinning. Purple Fern Photography is located on the south end of the Winchester Walking Mall next to Wilkins Shoe Store and Makenest Interiors, across from Water Street Kitchen.
