The world is a scary place right now, with crime on the rise, and our families vulnerable, all we want is to be able to protect them. These are among the reasons why we are bringing you this valuable 2 day course designed to help you make your family safer in your day to day life. Be prepared and train for the worst day, so you can relax in the day to day. Day 1 we will discuss what to look for in a predator (aka "bad guy")family safetyviolence prevention & avoiding dangerescapes from grabs and holds both standing and on the grounduse of improvised weaponsuse of self defense weaponsDay 2 we will discuss firearms safety & ruleshow to choose a firearmgetting to know your firearmfirearms basicshow to train safelybasic target shootingThis course is limited to 14 attendees to insure one on one time with instructors. No refunds (but we will move you to the next available course if you have an emergency). Must be 21 or older to attend this course. On day 1, please bring water and wear comfortable athletic clothes/gym clothes, and flip flops/slides for easy access on and off the mat. Be prepared to take notes. On day 2, please bring your unloaded firearm in a locked case separate from any ammo (if you do not yet have a firearm, we do have a few loaners but please let us know ahead of time), 100 rounds of ammo for your firearm, ear and eye protection, CLOSED TOED SHOES belt and holster (optional).
