San Bernardino and Riverside County have been continuously ranked as counties with the worst ozone in the nation. We are living in a crisis where warehousing has affected our air quality and community. It is time to have our voices heard! We the EnviroVoters Ed Fund Ambassadors- are hosting our first ever Air Quality Townhall for our WE CAN Campaign aka, Water Equity and Clean Air Now. Our campaign is tackling the severe inequities surrounding water and clean air in communities- by placing young people at the forefront of our fight. By joining us in person on April 27th, you are raising awareness of the poor air quality that our communities are currently facing, learning new ways to have an active voice, and helping us advocate for a youth-led climate board that will give young people a voice in local decision-making to achieve environmental justice for our communities! We will be having two guest speakers, City of San Bernardino Council Member Ben Reynoso and Riverside Neighbors Opposing Warehouses (R-NOW)'s Dr. McCarthy, join us in a conversation on how to activate our voice and advocate for our air quality in the IE. Join us for some light snacks, refreshments and a gift card raffle! In-person attendance is highly recommended. We are grateful to have Council Member Reynoso and Dr. McCarthy join us and we hope you also take the time to attend!
