Self-Care is not Selfish. Join We Are Their Voices Survivor Self-Care Series for a free morning yoga session facilitated by Peace of Khandi. Yoga’s incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person’s mental well-being. “Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration.” -Dr. Natalie Nevins- We invite those directly impacted by gun violence and those who support healing a wellness of communites. *Please bring a yoga mat or towel- Water will be provided.
