Description
This workshop series is designed for WOMEN who want to jump into the process of confidently working their dog... and have a WHOLE LOT of fun (and some wine) along the way! Our trainers will focus on how to reduce emotional conductivity, empower handlers to be "assertive" with out "being mean", build confidence in and focus on methods that use a female's body shape to their advantage, communicate effectively and thoroughly with their dog AND HOW TO TAKE THESE SKILLS AND APPLY THEM TOWARDS EVERYDAY LIFE! We do all of this while relaxing, having fun and sharing a glass of WINE with other women who share the same love of dogs! This one day workshop is specifically tailored to learning about Dog Play, Enrichment, pack integration/concerns & more! Focusing on multi dog interactions, growls/talks & sounds, how to play effectively to wear out the brain, fun additions to your training routine to enhance energy burn and more means that we are going to take your training routine to a WHOLE new level! In this class, we will also address concerns seen in playgroups and social groups. We will answer the age old questions of what IS AND IS NOT truly a concerning issue. By empowering women to knowingly control the intensity of playgroups... it greatly reduces the fear while the animals are interacting and creates happy expriences for all! This clsss will be on 5/27/23 from 10pm-4:30 and will serve lunch. Bring water bottles, sunscreen/bugspray as desired and dress accordingly for outside interactions. We will only be allowing 10 participants with dogs but will have additional spots available for auditing the class (no dog participation). All dogs MUST be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella & Leptospirosis vaccines administered by the veterinarians. Proof of these vaccines MUST be uploaded prior to the class in the pet's profile at www.homemadehounds.com. Only dogs with social temperments should attend class. Dogs who display concerning behaviors will not be allowed to participate for the safety and well being of those involved. And don't forget to TRAIN HARD, LOVE HARDER!
