Join us at Cache Creative Studio for a transformative evening of tuning in and reconnecting with the inner most Self. We will begin our time together by drinking traditional and tasty Guatemalan Cacao. Cacao is a delicious, safe, non psychoactive form of plant medicine packed with antioxidants, essential minerals, and natural antidepressants (Serotonin, Tryptophan, Theobromine). We drink this feel good elixir to help open our hearts and settle into a deep mediation. What is a Sound Bath? A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle, yet powerful, therapeutic and restorative processes to NURTURE YOUR MIND,BODY, and SPIRIT. We begin our time together with a few minutes of intention setting, self reflection, and guided breath, while the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession. The sounds are created by a variety of overtone-emitting instruments including chimes, gong, shruti box, Quartz crystal singing bowls, and voice. When you sink into a Sound Bath and guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from a more active state to a deeply relaxed, dreamlike state. This is the art and practice of deep listening. The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within you. The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery. Meet Your Facilitator: Facilitated by Lauren Smith (RYT500, 100hr Sound Facilitator). Lauren has hosted many cacao and yoga retreats all over Colorado and beyond. Lauren uses guided breath work and various instruments to help lull you off to a state of deep relaxation. Be guided into a place of deep inner listening through the power of Quartz Crystal chakra bowls, Wind Gong, Chimes, and more! We hope to see you there! What to Bring: Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and/or any props you need to feel comfortable (eye masks, bolster, cushion, etc.) Be sure to arrive hydrated and avoid any excess alcohol or caffeine use prior and post ceremony. Getting there: Cache Creative is located above Old Town Square. The door is located between Pinball Jones and Next Door restaurant. Come up the stairs and it is the first door and the of Suit 7.
