PEN is excited to work with PUSD's Family and Community Engagement staff to help re-energize parent engagement and re-build school communities across our school district. Whether you are new to PUSD, looking to re-connect since the pandemic, or a PUSD parent who has been around for a while but wants to make more meaningful connections at your school, we hope you will sign up to participate. We also encourage you to bring a few other parents from your school! It’ll be a fun morning of interactive activities where participants will come away with: Proven strategies for how to connect with parents/caregivers, teachers, and staff who may be different from youPractical advice on how to frame conversations when you have a question or concernConcrete ways to move beyond reaction to constructive actions that benefit all students at your schoolInformation that will help you find the right place to get involvedBreakfast and childcare will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. We will need to get a rough head-count no later than April 12, but please - don't wait: register before Spring Break!
