Baseball Event To Provide For The Drew Cepp Scholarship Fund

Event Cause: This baseball event at Goodall Park is being hosted by the Northeast Tides Baseball Club and is part of their summer of 2023 awareness and fundraising campaign which is to provide for the Drew Ceppetelli Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Drew grew up living locally in Barrington, NH and tragically lost her life in a car accident on Thanksgiving Eve, 11/24/2022. At the time of her passing, Drew was just a few weeks shy of graduating from Salve Regina University in Newport RI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. Drew was also preparing to play her final season of Varsity college softball at Salve Regina University and for her Senior year, had been nominated as team Captain. Drew’s parents established this memorial scholarship to honor their daughter’s name and legacy in December of 2022. Her parents have stated that the scholarship would be focused on providing opportunity for others that share the same amazing characteristics and passions as Drew, including her strong mind, her levels of positivity, constantly doing good things for others as well as having an overall ability to put good energy into the world. Drew’s family has said that with this scholarship in her name, her legacy will continue to live on. This through the level of mindfulness she practiced, the kindness and love she displayed towards others as well as the radiant energy that permeated towards all the family members, friends, teachers, coaches, teammates, etc, that had the benefit and pleasure of being directly connected with her. To further honor Drew, every Tides player and coach will wear a Tides alternate pink game jersey with CEPPETELLI # 7 adorned on the back. These jerseys, coupled with alternate Tides baseball caps and other forms of DC #7 sports wear (including sweatshirt hoodies) will be made available at a Goodall Park apparel booth for public purchase.
