Join experienced birders on this two-hour in-field session to help the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission complete its N.C. Bird Atlas, a 5-year program to count the state's birds and record certain habits. You will have the use of a pair of binoculars to aid with your birding, as well as the expertise of accomplished birders who will tell you what to look and listen for. No previous birding experience is required. You will be sent a handout with more information upon registering.
